Delete your TailorBoss account

Shop owners can delete their TailorBoss account in the app in under a minute, or ask us by email. Staff logins are managed by the shop owner. Here is exactly what happens to your data.

Delete it yourself

  1. Open the TailorBoss app (or app.tailorboss.com) and sign in as the shop owner.
  2. Go to Settings → My profile & login.
  3. Tap Delete my account.
  4. Enter your password and confirm.

Ask us by email

Write to us from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with and your shop name. We check that the request comes from you and reply within 30 days.

What happens next

It depends on whether you are a staff member or the shop owner.

Staff member

Your shop owner removes your login

  • Your login is created and managed by your shop owner. Ask them to remove it in TailorBoss (My Team).
  • Or email us at support@tailorboss.com with your name, sign-in phone number and shop name. We will contact your shop owner and make sure your login is removed.
  • Once removed, you are signed out everywhere and your sign-in details (phone number, email, password) are deleted from your login.
  • Your attendance, leave and salary records stay with the shop that employed you, because employers must keep them by law. Ask your shop owner if you want them changed.
Shop owner

Your shop closes after 30 days

  • You can cancel any time in those 30 days, from the same screen.
  • On the closing day, every login in your shop is switched off.
  • Within 90 days after closing, we delete your shop's data: customers, measurements, orders, photos, voice notes, invoices, purchase bills, staff and payroll records, and your account details.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Invoices and payment records for your TailorBoss subscription, for as long as Indian tax law requires (GST records: about 6 years).
  • Copies of data in our secure backups are removed automatically as those backups expire.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
  • Nothing else is kept after deletion.
